What we witnessed during the last 3 years of National Government is a gradual break-up of workers rights. The National Party of New Zealand introduced the 90 day sacking law as soon as they became government. This contributes to creating a rich - poor class system in New Zealand. Inequality in New Zealand growing slowly. The next succession of the National Government would inevitably lead into advanced capitalism.
New Zealand is culturally diverse society. What really makes us different? There is increase in difference between rich and poor citizen. The Alliance Party likes to be seen as beneficial to all of society. The Alliance is a people's party that puts people first. Working class people should not take more of National Policies.

What the Alliance wants for New Zealand - Job security and full employment
Hundreds of thousands of Kiwis are struggling with casual, insecure jobs. The Alliance will protect workers in low paid jobs, defend workers’ rights and increase the minimum wage.
